Ensenada, BC, Mexico – April 10, 2006 - The Baja California Language College announces the summer schedule for the popular Mexican Cooking Workshop.
Take note that this is more than a Mexican cooking demonstration. It is a full fledged, hands-on, interactive and totally participatory Mexican cooking workshop.
Mexican Chef and Spanish instructor Edith Alvarado welcomes you into her kitchen to share her passion of Mexican cooking. Edith, a native of the Mexican state of Oaxaca, has over 26 years experience as a professional chef in Mexico. She specializes in the preparation of dozens of local, national and traditional Oaxacan favorites.
All Workshops will begin and end on the following Saturdays:
The Workshops are open to both language school students and non-students.
It's a great way for friends and family to participate in an exciting group activity this summer.
See our Mexican Cooking Workshop page on our website for details.
“As a retiree, I can look back and see the role that Baja California Language College has played in my life. While working, the language courses gave me the ability to work directly with Spanish speaking employees. That ability and the appreciation I gained of the desire of immigrants to learn English, gave me my retirement goal - to teach English to Spanish speakers. The ability to do that has been enhanced by the language skill gained at Baja California Language College.”
