NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS |
Ensenada, BC, Mexico – August 17, 2006 – Students recently returning from the Baja California Language College learned of the new restrictions the hard way. Those bringing back gifts of Baja California wine, tequila and Kahlua were stopped by TSA employees at airport security check points. With very few exceptions, no liquids are now allowed past airport security.
Those with any kind of liquid in their possession were given two options. They could go back out of the secure area, stand in line to check the items as checked baggage and then return to the security line. Or, they could simply dispose of the newly prohibited articles in a trash receptacle in the secure area.
The TSA has been routinely updating the list of prohibited items.

"The teachers are very professional and nice and have a lot of patience. The groups are small. My family stay was a very wonderful experience; friendly people with a good sense of humor and very good food. I was fascinated to see daily life of a local family."
