Medical Spanish Courses Slated for March 2007

Ensenada, BC, Mexico – Feb 1, 2007 - Every week in March the Baja California Language College will be offering Medical Spanish courses for health care professionals. Nurses, doctors, physician assistants, midwives, EMTs and all other care providers and administrators are welcome to enroll.

Students may enroll for a single week or for multiple weeks. The Baja California Language College is certified by the California Board of Registered Nurses as an education provider.  Participants who complete all the material in a one week program earn 30 Continuing Education Units and receive a certificate of completion.

The Medical Spanish Program in Ensenada was recently recognized in an article featured in USA TODAY. The article acknowledged the high demand for Spanish interpreters at hospitals and clinics.

The Medical Spanish Program will be featured in March and October 2007.
